What an open Invitation, sounds like what Obama and the Democrats wants.
Boy what an Invitation for Criminals to break into cars to get their hands on guns to put the blame on an unsuspecting person that his gun had just killed some one or robed a bank while he was in School.
Is this Country getting stupider every day or is it just my Imagination, ether way people should have more brains to open them selves to that much trouble, I guess it is the College Educated way today, act and be stupid to show how they were educated.

College wants concealed weapons to stay in cars

Community colleges have a no-weapons policy on campus,
but a new state law means changing those rules, at least a little.
"I don't think it helps the safety of our students, that's our priority," said Martin Nadelman, president of Alamance Community College. "If we call the Graham police, they are here almost immediately."
House Bill 937 allows people with concealed-handgun permits to carry them in more places, and limits the rights of businesses and schools to keep guns out.
Concealed permit holders can bring handguns into the parking lots of community colleges, including Alamance Community College, and leave it there in a locked vehicle or locked container attached to the vehicle, once the law takes effect Oct. 1.
This does not mean the college wants anyone to take advantage of the new policy.
"We still try to encourage the no-weapons on campus policy and the no-drugs on campus policy," said Erik Conti, director of administrative services and chief of security at ACC.
Since the General Assembly passed the law this summer, all the affected parties have been looking over the language to see if the permit or the "no firearms permitted" sign carries more weight.
The North Carolina Community College System released a memorandum on weapons policies for the state's 58 community colleges to clarify the law.
The new law actually creates an exception to the standing state law prohibiting weapons on campus including "firearms, explosives, BB guns, stun guns, air rifles or pistols, and certain types of knives or other sharp instruments," according to the memo.
According to the memo, the gun may be unlocked long enough to get in or out of the car.
Community colleges now have to allow for the concealed handgun law in their weapons policies.
There are no other exceptions for other weapons.
"That law does not apply to rifles and shotguns," Conti said. "We've had hunters who leave guns hanging in their trucks."
When that happens, Conti said he has to call police and students go through a disciplinary process.
Conti said students with questions should talk to him and the security staff to make sure there is no confusion.
There are students, like culinary students, who need knives for classes, Conti said, and others who have work tools in vehicles. Conti said he finds he has to take that on a case-by-case basis.
Nadelman said he is not interested in publicizing the new rules, but is glad to have clarity.
"The last thing we want is to have a student thinking they could come onto campus with a gun," Nadelman said, "because then they would be arrested and be prosecuted for a felony."

The new concealed handgun law also affects the Alamance-Burlington School System.
Concealed permit holders can bring handguns into the parking lots of schools and leave them there in a locked vehicle or locked container attached to the vehicle, once the law takes effect Oct. 1, said Charles Monroe, assistant superintendent of ABSS.
That does not apply to students, though. Even if a student were old enough to have a concealed handgun permit -- 21 is the minimum age -- the law would not allow them to bring a handgun to a kindergarten through 12th grade campus.
Staff and faculty, however, would have the right.
Other weapons, rifles, shotguns, knives, explosives, stun guns, BB guns, air rifles and pistols are still prohibited.
