Company profits over CEO wages.Back in the 50’s people lived better then they do today, why
1 companies were not paying top dollar at the top
2 companies put money back into operating cost to stay solvent
3 people could afford to buy a home
4 you could afford grocerys
5 cars were not the price of a home
6 and a lot of people had a savings account
Today so much money is going out the door to top officals that they can’t keep the companies solvent.
When a company gets greedy they can’t support their living habits the worker take it in the shorts, now if the companies were to put those millions of dollar wages back into the company we would not be in the shape we are today.
If those millions were to be put back into the company, you would have a retirement, health care, and a steady job, but if you look at what is going on today you get a raise the union takes it in union dues, the Government takes it, States and Cities want their share to, so what you have left is what you started out with.
Take Social Security it was Solvent untill the Government decided to fund their pet projects and foreign countries, and wars, so now it is going broke, check on how many IOU’s that are in there, that will never get paid back. They never talk about this when it comes to why it is going broke.
